Debra Price earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from West Virginia University in 1993 and will complete her Master’s in Music Education at Kent State University in December 2025. She served two tenures as Director of Bands at Paden City High School, first from 1994 to 1997 and again from 2014 to 2025, where she built a legacy of musical excellence and community engagement.
Price is a proud member of Phi Beta Mu, where she serves as Vice-President of the Tau Chapter. She also serves as Vice-President of the Region I Bandmasters. Price was inducted into the West Virginia Marching Band Directors Hall of Fame in 2019. Her dedication to music education was further recognized when she was named Wetzel County Schools Teacher of the Year and selected as a Quarterfinalist for the Grammy Music Educator Award, both in 2021.
She currently serves as Middle School Band Director and Assistant High School Band Director at Tyler Consolidated Middle and High School in Sistersville, West Virginia, where she continues to inspire students through culturally rich music education.
She resides in Paden City, West Virginia with her husband, Brian. Together, they have three adult children, a daughter-in-law, and a son-in-law, three of whom are music educators themselves.
