Greetings… it’s summer! This submission for the Educational Outreach project aims to provide you with several resources to explore over the summer months. Veering off course from our usual outline, we will highlight a few of our PBM chapters, corporate instrument company resources and a state band association website.
These resources are deigned to benefit directors and students, all ages and topics with options for virtual or in-person options. Connect with these sites to learn more about their programs, registration, event schedules, featured performers, special topics and more! Best wishes as you read for new ideas to incorporate into your programs next year!
Buffet Educational Resource
The Pedagogics Project is a free service for all organized instrumental music programs where we provide – free of charge – a specialist on every instrument (except bassoon!) for virtual master classes. Thanks to Paula Corley, Education Advisor for Buffet Crampon for providing this information!
We think virtual education is here to stay (in some form) going forward and would like to connect our artists to the students and directors who need help. Directors fill out a short and simple form telling us which instrument they need help with, what topics they would like addressed, and when they need it. We provide an artist clinician for their class completely free of charge.
We are available to:
- Instrumentalists of all ages and abilities, who meet on a regular basis with a band teacher/conductor.
- University woodwind and brass studio and method classes.
- Need help with more than one instrument or class? We can do that.
